RV There Yet? Highlights

So far this season, the McCabes have been on many fun and unique adventures! The first episode features their return to Amicalola Falls State Park in Georgia, which they visited years ago in their first Winnebago. They were thankful for the Vista’s smooth driving capabilities when going up the 25% grade road to the campground and highest cascading waterfall in the South!

In the first episode, you can also get a short tour of some of the Vista 33K features that make setting up camp easier – including having one control panel to put out slideouts, turn on lights, and more. Plus, the McCabes do some polka dancing and ride a mountain coaster!

In other episodes, the McCabes share the history and top activities in Pensacola, FL; Naples, ME; Niobrara, NE; and Chattanooga, TN. Their adventures are very outdoor-focused, with lots of hiking, bicycling, and even a horse-back riding tour.

However, they also love to connect with locals to get a better understanding of the area they are visiting. In episode four, they even invite some local historians and tribe members over to their campsite at Niobrara State Park in Nebraska for a cookout at their RV!

The McCabes Visit Forest City for GNR in Episode Six!

In episode six of RV There Yet?, the McCabes travel through the beautiful corn fields of Iowa to Forest City – home to Winnebago's largest manufacturing facility. While there, they take a Winnebago factory tour and go to the Visitor Center, attend Grand National Rally to connect with owners, and explore nearby Pilot Knob State Park to hike, fish, and take in the views from the tower.

The McCabes also meet with multiple members of the Winnebago team to learn more about the company and what’s next, including insights from President of Winnebago Outdoors Huw Bower. Plus, they get a sneak peek of Winnebago’s all-electric RV concept and learn how it works! (Learn more about Winnebago’s recently revealed eRV2 prototype!

Watch the Forest City Episode:

When asked why they wanted to film this show in a Winnebago RV, Executive Producer and Co-Host Kevin McCabe said, “When we decided to create the RV There Yet? series, one of the first decisions we needed to make was what kind of RV do we want? The answer was simple for me, Winnebago. Our first RV was a Winnebago. They’ve led this industry since 1958 and to be traveling the country, filming the show in a trusted brand, it just makes us proud and confident that we’re in good hands.”

In addition to the episode, you can read more about their experience with Winnebago here.

After attending Grand National Rally, Patrice notes that, “they really do treat you like family, and I feel like we belong.” As many Winnebago owners know, it is the amazing community that really makes being part of the Winnebago family extra special! It is great to know the McCabe’s feel that, too.

The 2023 GNR takes place from July 16-20, if you are a Winnebago owner and would like to join in on the fun. We hope to see you there!

Patrice and Kevin, I really enjoy your show. Patrice, I'm from Nebraska too and look forward to a future RV. I'm interested in the Cowboy Trail on the northside of Nebraska. I can't recall, but where do you store your Ebikes on Winnebago Vista 33K? Thanks, Grant Hoover

Thanks for your comment, Grant! In the GNR episode, they seem to transport the bikes in the trunk of their vehicle. However, you can reach out to Patrice & Kevin directly on their website: https://www.rvthereyettv.com All the Best, GoLife Editor
