Plus, learn about exciting upgrades and options like additional lithium power!

By: GoLife Staff

If you are looking for a luxurious camping experience in a compact size, the Class C Winnebago View and Winnebago Navion are fantastic for travelers who want to go on extended escapes in nature without sacrificing comfort.

The new generation of Winnebago Views are available in three floorplans that each have their own unique benefits. Katelyn and Howard Newstate (@NewstateNomads) are on a mission to test out all three to decide which option would work best as their next RV. They have already reviewed the Winnebago View 24T and 24R floorplans, and now they are testing out the new Winnebago View 24D

After spending years traveling in the 2019 model of the 24D floorplan, they have enjoyed finding all the upgrades and changes in this latest version!

The Newstates chose their 2019 Winnebago Navion 24D because they love the galley kitchen with long counter, murphy bed, and U-shaped dinette. These owner favorites are still part of this popular floorplan; however, it has also had some exciting upgrades – including a larger dinette with footrests! You can see their initial impression and favorite new features in the video below.

(Note: They have been traveling in a prototype, so there may be some minor changes to what was shown in the video.)

The Newstates will be sharing a complete tour and more from their travels in the 2026 Winnebago View 24D on their YouTube channel. Be sure to also watch their reviews of the Winnebago View 24R and the Winnebago View 24T

Top Features of the New Winnebago View & Navion Floorplans

While the 24D floorplan has some specific benefits, many of the features mentioned in the video are available in all three new Winnebago View/Navion floorplans. Here are some of the upgrades you can look forward to in the new generation of this popular Class C RV …

1. Winnebago Connect

Of course, the Winnebago Connect smart control panel with accompanying app is a huge upgrade in all new Winnebago View models because it allows you to access all of your systems in one place. This helps reduce the learning curve for new RVers, and the Newstates love that it helps them make sure their pets are okay when they have to leave them in the motorhome. New RVers will also appreciate the smart safety features, like a digital rearview mirror and blind-spot monitoring, that are integrated into both the standard Mercedes-Benz rear-wheel-drive and optional all-wheel-drive chassis.

2. Lithium Power

Winnebago owners love the benefits of lithium power, so all new Winnebago View models (24T, 24R, and 24D) now come standard with lithium batteries, solar panels, and a 2,000W inverter.

You can also choose to upgrade to the generator replacement package which includes a 960-amp-hour 12V Lithionics lithium battery pack with Bluetooth control package, battery pack heating system, and four 120-watt solar panels. This is ideal if you plan to stay off-grid longer and want to make sure you have plenty of clean, quiet power available!

3. Positive-Locking Drawers

It may seem like a simple addition, but long-time RVers will be happy to see a positive-locking mechanism added to the soft-close galley drawers. No more worrying if your drawers will fly open when you take a sharp turn!

Other smart galley upgrades include an innovative LP/induction cooktop and a pop-up plug pedestal on the kitchen counter for easy access to power that doesn’t have to take up counterspace when not in use.

4. Two Stylish Interiors to Choose From

For the interior of your new Winnebago View, you can choose between the lighter Mod Allure option or the warmer tones of the Hygge Haus option. Both offer a clean, modern look with stylish accents.

You can also choose whether you prefer the low-profile cab with storage or the bunk to offer another sleeping area. In the 24D, you also have the option of having theater seating instead of the large U-shaped dinette.

What is the length of the twin beds? King or queen?

I believe those are to make a king. At least that is what it has always been.

We are enjoying our 2020 D and love that you changed the door in the 2026 but wish you would change the awning back to the old one with side supports. We don’t use ours for fear of a sudden wind coming up and trashing the awning. We never have had a problem with galley drawers opening while driving, but did have a problem with the pantry drawers opening and slamming into and opening the pamtry door. We paid to have you install the self closing glides which took care of the problem. I am hoping you address this in the 2026.Those changes might encourage us to buy a new motorhome.

Hello! We like what you have done on the 24D !!! Pricing is of course is always an issue. We have owned 3 other RV's of different lengths and brands ( 2 Winnebago) over the years going back to a short Brave in 1973. Loved that little box. Looking toward more retirement from our organic farm and vineyard who knows yet about a new RV? The current national government and divided nation are strong incentive to stay safely home on the farm instead of rolling down the road exploring such a hateful America. Anyway if we consider another RV or not you have a very nice product and we wish Winnebago good luck and the best. Bill and Ann Wisconsin

The metal trim he kept calling "copper" colored looked more like "brass" to me. Think bullet shell casings?

I love the new stuff that I do not have in my 2023 nation. One of my issues is the cable, antenna push button switch location. I do not know if is is in the same location as in my 2023 but besides the location that is not convenient, it is different to know the position of the switch.
