7 Highlights of the 2026 Winnebago View 24D

In addition to the overall stylish and modern look of this model, here are some of the impressive features and upgrades shown in the video …

1. More Powerful Engine

Like the new Winnebago View and Navion 24T and 24R floorplans, the 24D is on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Chassis with a two-liter, high-output, dual-turbo diesel, four-cylinder engine, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It has 20 more horsepower and seven more foot-pounds of torque than the previous model’s six-cylinder engine. 

With the new models, there is also no more turbo lag. That means that when you hit the gas, you immediately go! Plus, you get a dedicated second alternator for charging the house batteries quickly. 

2. Lithium Comes Standard

All new Winnebago View models (24T, 24R, and 24D) now come standard with 320 amp-hours of best-in-class Lithionics lithium batteries with Bluetooth control and a battery pack heating system, solar panels, and a 2,000W inverter. You can also choose to upgrade to the generator replacement package, which includes a 960-amp-hour 12V Lithionics lithium battery pack and four 120-watt solar panels. This is ideal if you plan to stay off-grid longer and want to make sure you have plenty of clean, quiet power available!

3. Winnebago Connect

The Winnebago Connect smart control panel with accompanying app is a huge upgrade in all new Winnebago View models! The Winnebago Connect system is perfect for new owners who are just stepping into their first RV. With user simplicity at the forefront, it allows you to access all RV systems in one place. 

Manage your tank levels, power capacity and usage, climate, maintenance reminders, and intelligent automation to make RV ownership easier than it’s ever been. Plus, there are lighting presets, pet minder settings, and a WiFi package now available with Winnebago Connect.

4. Smart Galley Upgrades

The RV galley is an important deciding factor for many travelers since having a kitchen you can actually cook in is one of the aspects that really make an RV feel like home. The new 24D still has the expansive counter space owners love, with a large double-sided, stainless-steel sink with a retractable spray faucet. There is also a convenient pop-up outlet on the kitchen counter so that your cords do not have to hang down and block the views. 

Speaking of views, the kitchen features a large window with the option of upgrading to a European-style, dual-pane window with a simple-to-use screen or blackout shade. You can also crack it for air flow while still keeping it locked! With Winnebago Connect, you can preset your lighting moods—perfect for easy setup when it’s dinner time.

5. Plenty of Storage

One of the reasons owners love the Winnebago View and Navion 24D floorplan is that there is a ton of storage available. Winnebago made sure to keep the impressive amount of storage and added even more smart solutions to maximize the space.

The Winnebago View 24D features a large pantry in the galley and a large wardrobe in the bathroom, plus plenty of hooks, cubbies, and built-in storage racks. The new models also have a positive-locking mechanism on the galley drawers for security during transit. All of the drawers are also illuminated and have a soft-close feature.

6. Comfortable and Convenient Murphy Bed

The easy-to-use Murphy bed system in the 24D allows you to keep your bedding in place and simply lift or lower the bed by pushing a button. When the bed is up, there is a cozy couch to enjoy with even more storage under the seat. At night, you’ll enjoy the custom-made WinnSleep System that combines a superior two-layer, high-density foam mattress with a European suspension system to increase comfort, relieve pressure, and improve under-mattress air circulation to help eliminate condensation. 

The 2026 Winnebago View and Navion 24D features a panoramic window to enjoy when the bed is down, so you don’t have to choose between having a lazy morning and enjoying the landscape outside!
