5 Cycling-Friendly Winnebago RVs You Can Store Your Bikes In!
Compare RV bicycle storage and other top features of these popular RVs.
Cycling enthusiasts are often drawn to RVing because of how well it complements their adventures by bike. Whether riding for the scenery, exercise, or a competition, RVs are ideal mobile basecamps since they offer access to all the necessities you’d need to get refreshed, refueled, and relaxed after a long bike ride. Plus, RVs offer more room for bicycle storage and accessories than a vehicle would.
However, not all RV bicycle storage is created equally. While some RVers just use a bike rack on the back of their rig, travelers with more expensive bicycles prefer to keep those inside and safe from the elements as well as theft. Luckily, Winnebago has multiple RVs with enough room to store your bikes inside.

1. Winnebago Solis PX
This camper van includes 18 inches of open space in the back that can be used to store bikes without the hassle. See how James and Stef stored two bikes in the Winnebago Solis PX here. This Winnebago Solis also features a pop-top, so it sleeps four people.

2. Winnebago EKKO
The Winnebago EKKO is part of Winnebago’s Backcountry Series of RVs, meant to take you off the pavement and on the path to epic adventures. With the large gear garage, you have the option to store bikes and more! (See how Winnebago EKKO owners are using their gear garages in this article.) This RV also has an optional pop-top, so it can sleep four as well.

3. Winnebago Revel
The Winnebago Revel is the original off-road-ready, gear-hauling adventure van. It features a power-lift bed that creates a large gear garage in the back of the van when it’s up—which is an ideal place to store your bikes! (Tour the new Winnebago Revel Sport 44C floorplan in this video.)

4. Winnebago Micro Minnie 1800BH
The bottom bunk of this travel trailer flips up to create a gear garage that can easily hold bikes, and there’s also an exterior door to that space. This is a really popular model for families with children and is a great entry-level RV.

5. Winnebago View 24R
This RV has a very similar layout to the Winnebago EKKO, complete with a gear garage that can store and transport multiple bicycles. With the cab-over bunk, it can sleep a total of four as well. See an in-depth tour of the Winnebago View 24R here.
