WA: Evergreen Winnies

It was a Ho-Ho-Ho good time at the December outing!

Seven trusty rigs made their way to Harmony Lake RV for our Christmas outing hosted by our 2022 officers. Thursday, we gathered for Happy Hour, then after dinner some made their way to the clubhouse for lively card games. Friday was busy with wrapping our gift cards for our charity, New Beginnings. Thankfully, our early snow didn’t come to Silver Cove, but we did make it snow in the clubhouse by cutting out snowflakes to decorate the hall. After a relaxing afternoon we had Happy Hour, potluck dinner, and many rounds of BINGO.

Saturday began with a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs with sausage, and sweet rolls. At our club meeting we installed next year’s officers. The hosts prepared dinner: ham, au gratin potatoes, green beans, Caesar salad, and so many desserts that our sweet tooth was exploding. The holiday party continued with a crazy game of present mix up, then each small box was opened to reveal the gift card amount. We are donating $410 to New Beginnings! Thank you all!

We ended the evening with Christmas Carols, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
