Oregon-Washington Rally

Even with multiple challenges, Oregon managed to pull off an Oregon-Washington Rally in Junction City, Oregon September 9 thru 12. The Oregon State WIT Club almost folded as large rallies are so time consuming it became really difficult getting volunteers. Oregon decided to take a different approach and have smaller less intense rallies and comments from attendees proved it was a great success! Many challenges were faced from Covid, the sale of the Winnebago dealership and attached RV park, and the closure of the restaurant that was catering the meals.

Even with those challenges things worked out. 37 coaches from Oregon, Washington, and even one from Colorado were present, which was the number decided on for a smaller rally. Informative presentations were made by SkyMed, Bish's RV, on RV Battery and black/gray tank Maintenance, and the Winnebago WIT office. The presentations were well received.

Dinner meals included a BBQ the first night, a potluck, and a Catered meal and they were all good with way too much food.  Saturday afternoon some of the attendees played a variety of games while others toured the area and its many wineries. A 2022 Oregon-Washington Rally is being planned. Stay tuned for more details!
