November Luncheon & Annual Meeting
The November luncheon and election of officers took place on November 13th at Bella’s Italian Restaurant in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Thank you Ann & Charles Lusher for hosting and picking such a great location for our luncheon.
After feasting on dishes such as lobster ravioli with homemade garlic rolls, the meeting was called to order by Vice President Rick Cordt. There were 33 Winnies attending the luncheon, including four Ozark Winnies, Carol & Terry Parsons & Skip & Joyce Mahaffey. New Chiefs, Elva & Vern Windsor, were also present.
David & Kay Bern came to check us out, then decided to become our newest Chief Winnies. Everyone was more than happy to see all of you! It was decided during the meeting to send $100.00 to Chip & Dale Dog Rescue and $100.00 to the Tiny Houses for Veterans project for our charitable contributions this year.
The 2022 officers were elected and sworn in.
They will assume office on January 1st. Rick Cordt is our new president, Don Wright vice president, and Terry Day and Peggy Sego will continue as treasurer and secretary.
