PA: Capitol Area Winnies

Greetings from sunny Florida. Well, It’s that time of year when there really isn’t much WIT activity to report. From a personal perspective the Boltzes are currently spending two weeks at the same RV Park where we are residing until the end of February. They will then be pulling up stakes and moving to a resort near Orlando for a stretch. While in Florida, I also hope we are able to engage with other CAW members while in the
Sunshine State.

As a reminder, the PA State Rally is scheduled for June 12 and 13 with departure on the 14th at Roxbury Holiness Camp near Orrstown, PA. Folks from Three Rivers Chapter are leading this planning effort and I would suspect that additional details for reservation application should soon be forthcoming. This is a new venue for the State Rally and based upon a preliminary visit back in November by members of various PA Chapters. It appears as though the venue may be well received. Stay tuned for additional details from the PA state rally planners.

We will be meeting at Hoss’s in Hummelstown in only about 10 weeks for our Annual Meet & Greet, which not only kicks off our 2020 camping season, but also provides an opportunity for our members to step up and serve our chapter by assuming one of the officer positions. Nominations will be welcomed for all positions during our business meeting. I urge you all to please consider giving the current officers a break by offering to take on the light duty required to keep our chapter solvent. Really…it takes little effort to help lead this chapter. Officers will again be voted into their respective roles at the May Campout at Ive’s Run.

Happy Trails,
Terry
