March 2020 Newsletter

President’s Message

Whenever I write down the year 2020 it reminds me of having 2020 vision and I believe our vision for this year has now come into focus. We still have
two more luncheon meetings scheduled before our camping season begins and am hoping to see good turnouts, both of which will be at one of our
favorite places, Red’s Old 395 Grill in Carson City. The March meeting will include our annual election of officers and I’m pleased that all our current
officers have agreed to stay on for another year.
I’m excited about our camping season which will begin with our traditional May trip to Meadowcliff. They are under new management this year and it will be interesting to see what changes have been made. We’ll then be participating in a couple of new experiences in June and late July/August where we will coordinate our schedule with two other groups. We’ll travel to the New Frontier Park in Winnemucca in June at the same time as the Sierra Rollers, then to the Bodega RV Park in conjunction with the Western Ramblers at the end of July. We’ll conclude with
our annual Quincy trip where we’ve been told that the Pioneer RV Park is also under new management. Details will follow in this and future newsletters.
The days are getting noticeably longer and I’m certain we’re all looking forward to warmer
weather when we can get rolling again.
Happy Camping.
John
