MO: Ozark Winnies

Doesn't it seem strange that this is the last newsletter of the year? Terry Parsons has done such an amazing job each month, of designing this, with news and good information for each of us to stay in touch! Thank you, Terry and Carol for your efforts and successes!

I am sure we can all attest to the fact that this is the strangest year we have been experiencing since RVing. I guess the theme of the year is NO PLANNING, as we haven't been able to get any of the planning right.... On a personal note, we felt like fishes out of the water with being in Forest City for maintenance in June, expecting to stay there to begin work on the grounds and in the volunteer dept, anticipating GNR, and realizing we were on our own after that, instead of moving over to the grounds to stay for the month of July! So we decided to visit friends in Sundance, WY, then go on to Custer, SD, met up with Chuck and Teresa Donnelly and LOVED every minute there - rode a UTV vehicle in the trails, went horseback riding, enjoyed the 4th of July and the cool temps. We are back home for doctor visits and David teaching Emergency Medicine classes, then on the road again within a few weeks.

We have truly been missing each of you, not getting to see you on a monthly basis is something we hope we do not have to repeat. You will see in this newsletter, the schedule and locations for next year. They are basically a repeat of where we wanted to go this year. Many of you had volunteered to host this year - please let me hear from you if you would volunteer again, PLEASE. And for what month. Looking ahead to the Spring Meeting in Columbia....... Ozark Winnies will be the hosts so let's have a great turnout for that event! I am trying to find a caterer, if you know of one in the area, please let me know. Also, if you know of areas of interest, pass the info on to me, since I have an inside track to the State President!!!!!

Let us know where you will be wintering - we like to let people know so you might be able to visit one another! We haven't made up our minds yet, waiting to see what the situation is in America by then. Thank you, each of you, for your understanding and patience in this fluid and ever-changing year we are dealing with. Thank you for your trust in the officers in Ozark Winnies. What a blessing and privilege it has been to continue to be your president. David and I look forward to 2021, to the enjoyment, laughter, friendships, and maybe even the challenges 2021 will bring. God bless you all.
